Please Please Me 1963
- I Saw Her Standing there: great song for Paul then, but I don’t
think he could sing about dancing with a 17 year old now
- Misery: I like this song mostly because this person sounds like a jerk
- Anna (Go to Him): it takes a lot of courage to admit to a girl you’re not the
one for her
- Chains: good but forgettable
- Boys: this is exciting to hear, the first ever recording of Ringo singing
- Ask Me Why: Sad happy song
- Please Please me: I like this song, John's harmonica, and the double please
- Love Me Do: again I like John's bluesy harmonica
- PS I Love You: I like this song; I think it’s underrated
- Baby It’s You: good but forgettable
- Do You Want to Know a Secret: George also had an excellent solo
debut
- A Taste of Honey: This one has an odd tempo
- There’s a Place: I feel the same way about my own mind
- Twist and Shout: nice closing rocker
