Yoko Ono = Attila the Hun?

Saying that Yoko Ono’s interventions was the sole reason for the Beatles breakup is like saying Attila the Hun single handedly defeated the roman empire.  They were both definitely factors but definitely not the sole reason. In the case of Rome for example  there was loads of political corruption from the leaders,  plus the roman outsourcing their army The Hun weren't even the only barbarian hoards.  And it was the same with the Beatles there were also  Brian Epstein's death which left them without a manager and got them in debt. The drugs they were taking The end of their touring  which meant that they had too spend most of their time in the studio. There was also the fact that four guys doing music together is rather like a bad marriage between four people with no sex, they each had their individual ideas about how to do things and too many chefs spoil the broth. All Yoko did was provide John  with an escape route as did Linda Eastman for Paul not to mention Patty Harrison and Maurine Starkey for George and Ringo respectively.

The Beatles Formula?

The Beatles  recorded Let it Be before Abbey road not after it. So why is it not that great if they recorded an Album as cool as the White Album Before it and an Album as cool as Abbey road after it? Did they vary their formula? What Formula! One could not Imagine two songs more different than A Day in the Life and Little Child both written by John and Paul.  Back in the USSR has Paul Not Ringo drumming the song. Eleanor Rigby Has No Ringo and No Beatles instruments and the song. Julia is just John in Yesterday the only Beatle in that song is Paul like wise for George on Within You Without You Good Night. Not only has only Ringo but no high harmonies no Beatles playing. The Beatles aren’t even singing on Flying. It seems the only formula is that at least one Beatle is present. Than what's wrong with let it be, the feeling of freshness.

Ringo as important Drummer and Georges lead Guitar

John and Paul may have been the lead visionaries main writers and singers; but George and Ringo were the ones who were most responsible for the Beatles unique sound trough Georges Lead guitar and Ringo's drumming. In my opinion it's not a mere coincidence that the Beatles became stars when Ringo joined the group in 1962.  If you listen close to Ringo's drumming you will notice that Ringo's drumming is very minimalistic, but very essential and he always gets the right kind of sound. George also didn't indulge in very elaborate guitar solos he just provide what was needed , but still they always have a very exciting and elegant sound.
